About the Role:
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver the clinical value proposition and move customers through a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics/hospitals and independent physician offices.
- Meet sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with healthcare provider decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatology and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies and seek clarification when needed.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry) selling experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
