Role: Principal Security Architect responsible for leading security architecture for a major cloud-centric program at Lilly, primarily on AWS and other cloud platforms. Objectives include owning the end-to-end security design, managing risk posture, and ensuring secure implementation of workloads handling trade secrets and sensitive intellectual property. Responsibilities encompass conducting architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, developing reference architectures, and providing technical guidance across cross-functional teams, including security, engineering, legal, and audit. Qualifications: 8+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, or related fields; deep expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity management, network architecture, encryption, and secure development lifecycle; proven experience securing sensitive IP; strong threat analysis skills; excellent communication and mentorship abilities. Preferred: experience with multi-cloud environments and securing highly classified workloads.
