Role: Principal Scientist (Clinical Director) in Translational Medicine/Early Clinical Development within Neuroscience, based in the US. Objectives include leading early clinical development of neurological and psychiatric therapeutics, bridging discovery research and clinical trials. Responsibilities encompass collaborating with basic science teams on target validation, designing and executing clinical pharmacology and biomarker studies across all phases, and supporting regulatory filings. The position involves cross-functional leadership in early-stage programs from preclinical to Phase 2 Proof-of-Concept, emphasizing target validation, biomarker development, and translational strategies. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD with clinical medicine experience, residency completion, and a track record in biomedical research, publications, and collaborative work. Preferred: Board-certified or eligible in Neurology or Psychiatry, academic or translational research background, early clinical development experience.
