Objectives include ensuring timely project delivery to support site strategy, manufacturing continuity, and patient supply. Responsibilities encompass leading cross-functional teams, developing and executing complex engineering solutions, and delivering technical documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, and specifications. The role involves managing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk, with possible dual capacity as Engineering Lead on smaller projects and Project Manager on larger ones. It includes mentoring junior engineers, contributing to site project procedures, and supporting metrics tracking. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering or related field; 7+ years' engineering or project management experience; preferred Professional Engineer (PE), Engineer in Training (EIT), or PMP certifications. Experience with cGMP manufacturing systems (bioreactors, chromatography, filtration, HVAC, utilities) and leading multidisciplinary teams exceeding 10 members is essential. Skills include proficiency in project management methodologies, MS Office, MS Project, and technical communication. High-value biopharma specifics involve work in biologics manufacturing, with potential travel of 25-50%, and physical demands typical of industrial settings.
