Discover Your Role
- Support the design and implementation of the QC Lab Orchestration Layer; define integration patterns including APIs, event-driven architectures, message queues, and file-based approaches.
- Design and develop instrument-to-orchestration integrations using REST, SOAP, SFTP, JSON, and XML (API-based, file-based, and message-based).
- Translate QC business processes into orchestrated digital workflows; develop instrument data capture/automation workflows and configure/support middleware and integration platforms.
- Ensure integrations comply with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and ALCOA+; participate in Computer System Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), impact assessments, and change control documentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues in production; provide Level 2/3 support for QC Lab Systems.
- Partner with QC Analysts, QA, IT infrastructure, and external vendors; collaborate with QC, R&D, Manufacturing, and QA teams.
- Support audits/inspections; ensure scalability, resilience, and performance across lab integrations.

This Role Requires
- BS/BA in IT, Mathematics, or related field.
- Senior: 5+ years relevant experience; Principal: 8+ years relevant experience.
- Experience connecting lab instruments (e.g., liquid handlers, analyzers) to LIMS/ELNs to automate data capture.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Proficiency in Python or VBA for workflow customization and data parsing.
- Strong understanding of data formats, naming conventions, and data governance.
- GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSV/CSA experience preferred (regulated pharma/biotech).
