Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications and features for the VaiDA experience.
- Own the technical direction and architecture for VaiDA mobile experiences.
- Translate AI-driven capabilities into clear, easy-to-use mobile workflows.
- Integrate mobile applications with Vertex’s AI/agentic platform, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Ensure mobile solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, AI engineers, backend developers, and platform teams.
- Champion mobile usability, accessibility, and design best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to improve stability and user satisfaction.
- Define and uphold code quality, testing standards, and release processes.
- Evaluate new mobile technologies/frameworks to improve quality and delivery speed.
- Support ongoing enhancement of VaiDA as a trusted daily tool.
- Support operational management of additional mobile applications (certificate signing, provisioning, developer account administration).
- Coordinate deployments/updates via enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune) and ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing/delivering mobile applications professionally.
- Strong mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience building secure, performant, responsive mobile features.
- Ability to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences with attention to detail.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with backend services, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Commitment to usability, reliability, and trust.
Technical Skills Required:
- Native iOS and Android development; mobile app development.
- API integration; secure mobile development.
- Performance optimization; responsive UI development.
- Testing/debugging; version control.
- iOS/Android app submission and maintenance.
- Mobile app signing, provisioning, release management.
- Enterprise mobile deployment coordination (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
