Responsibilities:
- Provide operational, project, and strategic support of PLC, DCS, Manufacturing Execution systems, and ancillary data systems used to control and collect data for building/manufacturing unit operations (e.g., incubators, bioreactors, chromatography/filtration skids, CIP/caustic distribution, COP washers, autoclaves).
- Provide technical leadership; contribute to Automation Engineering group vision for cGMP manufacturing at Takeda MBO sites.
- Develop/maintain standards for low-voltage control panels, instrumentation communication protocols, and control hardware maintainability.
- Drive system performance, continuous improvement, system/software platform upgrading, life cycle planning, and innovation.
- Serve as subject matter expert across multiple unit operations/platforms; support/lead project engineering (including large/transformation projects).
- Consult on design/policies/processes/goals; oversee technical output of engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Travel up to 20% (domestic/international); up to 20% remote work.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering + 12 years related experience.
- Experience with large-scale control systems (>100K DST), control system life cycle planning, major hardware/software upgrades.
- Improve/optimize control and performance; virtualize and deploy control systems.
- Integrate third-party software/hardware; develop control panel standards.
- Integrate devices across protocols; code control applications; configure HMI graphics.
- Perform ICS cybersecurity evaluation/consultation and execute enhancements.
- Develop/maintain control system SOPs and maintenance procedures; solve issues across platforms/systems/communications/controls/device levels.

Benefits/Pay:
- Full-time. $159,390–$242,550/year.
