The Principal Enterprise Architect – Adobe Experience Cloud & AI will define and drive the enterprise architecture for Novo Nordisk’s Adobe ecosystem, with primary responsibility for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), ensuring AEM, AEP, and Adobe Experience Cloud operate as a unified ecosystem connecting content, customer data, analytics, personalization, decisioning, journey orchestration, and activation across channels.
Essential Functions
- Analyses & Fulfils Business Needs:
- Leverage business/industry knowledge to influence decision-making and future strategy.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and business leaders to ensure solutions are sustainable and support change management.
- Advise stakeholders by anticipating needs and aligning solutions to business strategies.
- Technology Principles, Knowledge & Practices:
- Primary technical authority for the Adobe CX Platform (AEM and AEP).
- Define and govern end-to-end Adobe architecture, including AEP–AEM data flows, downstream activation integrations, Real-Time CDP configuration, and AI/ML-driven personalization.
- Manage IT Vendors (ensure mature products/services) and apply risk management (robust, sustainable solutions).
- Build relationships and influence stakeholders; develop fact-based rationales to gain support.
Physical Requirements
- 0–10% overnight travel.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s in CS, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or solid relevant experience).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare IT.
- 12+ years progressively responsible experience in one or more: AEM; AEP (Real-Time CDP, CJA, AJO, ingestion/activation); Adobe Analytics & Target; integrated Adobe CX ecosystem (data flows, identity stitching, unified profiles); latest Adobe AI/Generative AI (lead readiness assessment and end-to-end AI feature implementation).
- Strong business understanding and IT architecture skills; experience evaluating/implementing new technologies.
- Strong leadership; ability to develop/maintain internal relationships.
- Ability to lead programs/process development; understand system architectures and application integrations; work independently.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Base compensation range: $120,300–$222,600; eligible for company bonus and long-term incentive and/or company vehicles.
