General Summary:
The Business Engagement & Technology Principal Analyst will ensure delivery and support of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom solutions for business partners. They will partner with business leadership to deliver capabilities and execute a roadmap aligned to business strategy, and maintain reliable, scalable, compliant systems through efficient delivery, enhancements, and innovative integrations.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Become a trusted partner of business leaders within their remit
- Understand needs and vision; deliver technology solutions to support goals
- Provide insights on improving business processes for operating efficiencies
- Lead evaluation, selection, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of technology solutions
- Develop and maintain a long-term systems life cycle plan
- Manage relationships with strategic software vendors and service providers
- Coordinate with DTE Compliance, Internal Audit, and Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory compliance and DTE lifecycle/change management requirements
Knowledge And Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of project management, business analysis, solution design, delivery, and testing
- Build partnerships with stakeholders and align on recommendations/solutions
- Strong understanding of business/processes and regulatory environments
- Track record delivering on-time, large complex projects with global stakeholders
- Ability to manage own workload with minimal direction
- Strong written/verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Strong system life cycle expertise
- Knowledge of IT managed services or outsourced/offshore teams
- Strong MS Office skills (MS Project & Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in Agile methodology
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline (or equivalent)
- 6 years relevant business systems experience in the Life Sciences industry (or equivalent)
Pay Range:
- $142,800 - $214,200
- Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards
Flex Designation:
- Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week
- On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility
