General Summary:
Vertex is seeking a Principal Analyst, G&A Technology to support Legal, OBIE, and Corporate Communications functions. Partner with stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that strengthen operations, enhance user experience, and support strategic priorities, with a focus on Legal, Compliance and Corporate Communication needs.

Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives (requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live support).
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers.
- Translate business needs into technology solutions and delivery plans.
- Drive project planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication across multiple initiatives.
- Provide functional and technical expertise in application configuration, integrations, and documentation.
- Partner with Privacy, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure adherence to regulations, data integrity standards, and system lifecycle/change management processes.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, prioritization, and continuous improvement across G&A Technology.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years supporting business systems (preferably life sciences or other regulated industry).
- Experience supporting Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Communication functions.
- Proven ability to deliver complex technology initiatives with cross-functional/global stakeholders.
- Experience translating business needs into scalable technology solutions.
- Experience with SaaS, enterprise applications, integrations, and vendor-supported solutions (e.g., iManage, Everlaw, Jasper AI, PwC Interactions Hub, PoliteMail).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in regulated environments (compliance, privacy, data integrity, governance).
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and drive results.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting Legal, Compliance, or Corporate Communication in a corporate environment.
- Experience evaluating/implementing AI-powered solutions (GenAI, intelligent assistants, copilots, chatbots, SaaS AI, agentic AI).
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and systems integration.
- Experience with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery.
- Understanding of data privacy, records management, and information governance.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
