About The Opportunity
Principal Agentic Workflow & AI Engineer (Biologics Discovery data engine). Build agentic workflows that automate secondary data processing, orchestrate analyses, and connect experimental outputs to models/decisions across the DMTL cycle (lab automation + data pipelines + AI systems).

Position Summary
Design/build agentic workflows and orchestration owning scientific analysis + secondary processing logic. Translate scientific priorities into automation/AI roadmaps and build real-time pipelines connecting automation software, data stores, models, and compute. Partner cross-functionally to enable closed-loop feedback and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities
- Design/configure/improve agentic workflows for biologics secondary analysis; replace fragile manual steps.
- Build/oversee real-time pipelines across automation, data stores, models, and compute.
- Implement resilient APIs, observability, versioning, and workflow orchestration.
- Extend shared GenAI platforms/agentic frameworks for biologics discovery.
- Ensure semantically consistent, reusable, production-deployable data.
- Optimize for AI-driven closed-loop learning across DMTL; ensure high-quality, traceable, AI-ready data.
- Set standards; pilot emerging agentic AI methods; represent work in technical forums.

Qualifications
Required:
- PhD preferred in CS/Engineering/computational field.
- 3+ years building scientific workflow orchestration/automation, including agentic workflows and technical leadership.
- Hands-on real-time/near-real-time pipelines integrating heterogeneous scientific/instrument outputs.
- Experience applying agentic AI/LLM-based agents to scientific/lab workflows.
- Experience using enterprise/shared GenAI + retrieval-augmented approaches (RAG/GraphRAG).
- Translate scientific objectives into scalable solutions; strong communication in matrixed orgs.
Preferred:
- Drug discovery (biologics, high-throughput experimentation, imaging).
- Lab automation/robotics/cyber-physical systems exposure.
- MLOps/DevOps, workflow engines, production monitoring/observability.
- FAIR data/ontologies/semantic models/lineage/provenance/AI-ready standards.

Location
Spring House, PA (preferred) or Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ. No remote option.

Compensation & Benefits (explicit)
- Anticipated base pay range: $117,000–$201,250; eligible for annual performance bonus.
- Medical/dental/vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, business accident, group legal; retirement + 401(k).
- Time off: Vacation up to 120 hrs/yr; Sick up to 40 hrs/yr; Holiday pay up to 13 days/yr + up to 40 hrs Work/Personal/Family time.
