Role: Prevention Specialist, HIV Prevention Business Unit (Virginia North Territory: West VA—Morgantown/Charleston; Northern VA—Arlington/Fairfax; Charlottesville, VA).

Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead products/services to a defined customer base; generate/grow sales by achieving/exceeding targets.
- Build strategic relationships with healthcare providers; deliver approved disease awareness, clinical updates, and education.
- Develop/execute a territory business plan; monitor performance and adjust to meet targets.
- Maintain expertise in HIV prevention products/competitive landscape and complexities of access.
- Promote appropriate product use per Corporate/PhRMA/OIG guidelines; uphold compliance and ethical standards.
- Partner with local cross-functional colleagues (reimbursement, medical, nurse education, community liaison) and collaborate externally (organizations/partner companies) to drive access and sales.
- Complete administrative requirements (call activity/customer info systems, expenses, territory budget); continuously learn and stay current on industry trends.

Required/Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 5 years experience OR Master’s + 3 years experience.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel within territory; satisfy onsite visitation requirements as applicable.
- Ability to perform essential duties; reasonable accommodations may be made.

Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS; 4+ years pharma/biotech/healthcare sales; injectable physician-administered + Buy & Bill experience; specialty-market success; managed care familiarity.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Salary range: $115,260–$149,160; may include discretionary bonus, stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
