Prevention Specialist (HIV Prevention Business Unit) โ Virginia North Territory (VA).
Responsibilities:
- Represent Gilead products/services; generate and grow sales by consistently achieving/exceeding sales targets in assigned geography.
- Build strategic relationships with healthcare providers and execute a territory business plan; monitor sales and adjust tactics.
- Maintain expertise in HIV prevention products, competitive landscape, and access complexities.
- Promote appropriate product use with adherence to applicable Corporate/industry guidelines.
- Partner with local cross-functional colleagues (e.g., Field Reimbursement Managers, Medical Scientists, Nurse Educators, Community Liaisons) to support access/acquisition/admin/operational needs.
- Collaborate externally with healthcare organizations/partners to enhance reach and drive sales.
- Leverage influencing skills, complete required administrative/reporting, manage territory budget, and stay current on industry/therapeutic-area changes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree + 5 years experience OR Masterโs degree + 3 years experience.
- Ability to travel as required; ability to meet onsite visitation requirements (e.g., screenings/vaccinations, if applicable).
- Valid driverโs license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS; 4+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare sales.
- Track record meeting/exceeding sales objectives (specialty markets preferred); injectable physician-administered and/or Buy & Bill experience; managed care familiarity.
Skills/Competencies:
- Strong presentation/communication; ability to distill complex clinical information.
- Sales acumen, technical/scientific proficiency, cultural awareness (incl. sexual health conversations).
- Matrix collaboration, ethical leadership, autonomy/self-starter; patient-access focus.
Compensation/Benefits (if eligible): $115,260.00โ$149,160.00 base; potential discretionary bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off; company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
