Rotating Day Shift (5am–5pm) – 5% shift differential; Rotating Night Shift (5pm–5am) – 20% shift differential. Shift preferences discussed during interview.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair reheat coils, potable/non-potable water systems, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot customer service calls for potable/non-potable water systems.
- Partner with SME/Reliability services to trouble operational issues.
- Capture appropriate R&M data on work orders (material costs, contract labor costs, effort).
- Support BMS Devens campus Facilities operations for: Biologics Large Scale Commercial Manufacturing, Biologics Clinical Manufacturing, Biologics Cell Bank Manufacturing, Biologics Development and Laboratory operations, and CAR-T Manufacturing.
- Review/analyze system data and make initial recommendations with Reliability/Operations Managers for maintenance changes, upgrades, replacements.
- Cross-train and/or back up as appropriate.
- Maintain complete system documentation for repairs/changes.
- Monitor and adjust water/heating systems (potable/non-potable, hot water, floor radiant heating, chilled water, boilers, HVAC, domestic water heaters, pumps, valves, piping, backflow preventors/filters).
- Analyze malfunctions, determine causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform preventive maintenance on base building and critical plumbing equipment.
- Clean up work area; return tools to workshop; unused supplies to storeroom.
- Report equipment problems and potential supply/material shortages; maintain tools and order supplies.
- Comply with hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal policies.

Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma/state equivalent/GED.
- 2+ years related trade schooling (preferred).
- Massachusetts Journeyman Plumbing License (required).
- Massachusetts Gas license (plus).
- Boiler license or EPA certification (plus).
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
- Strong interpersonal skills; communicate effectively in oral and written reports.
- Familiar with computer equipment/programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operate electric hand tools; work on ladders up to 28'; carry/lift heavy loads; operate required equipment and a motor vehicle.
- Work in close spaces (closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults); work on roofs safely for overhead tasks.
- Ability to manage across functional lines in a matrix organization.

Compensation:
- Devens, MA: $39.01–$47.28 per hour (full-time). Additional incentive opportunities may be available (eligibility-based).
