Role Summary
Plasma Processor position in a plasma center in Newark, OH (Mt Vernon area). You will contribute to donor processing, packaging, shipping, and inventory control to support plasma-derived medicines. The role requires strong customer service, attention to quality, and comfort working with extreme temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Collects and processes donor samples for processing and testing.
- Records weight of product and samples.
- Labels samples and freezes units for final packing within required timeframe.
- Packs units for final shipment; packs samples and prepares shipping box to send samples to the testing lab.
- Monitors stored products and reports on equipment conditions.
- Maintains active communication and quality.

Additional Requirements
- Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potential exposure to infectious organisms; exposure to electrical equipment; exposure to extreme cold (below 32°F) in plasma freezers
- Personal protective equipment is required (eyewear, garments, gloves, cold-gear)
- Physical demands include standing 4–6 hours per day, bending/twisting, repetitive hand/finger movements, walking up to 1-2 hours per day, light lifting up to 50 lbs
- Hearing acuity and vision requirements; ability to follow oral or written instructions
