Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and providing customer service in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, maintaining accurate logs, and supporting administrative tasks. Requirements: High school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; preferred experience includes 2+ years in outpatient, pediatric, or geriatric phlebotomy, and certification from an accredited agency. High-Value: Outpatient lab environment, blood specimen collection, customer service focus. Work setup: On-site in Lexington, Kentucky, with travel to additional sites; schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Additional qualifications include strong communication skills, ability to work independently, reliable transportation, flexibility for overtime, and passing a color blindness test.
