      Role Summary
Phlebotomist – We Train
Our ideal phlebotomist is patient, reliable, and really commits to keep our donors comfortable and happy.
Responsibilities
- Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
- You establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
- You respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
- Monitors donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
- Sets up, disconnects, and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines.
- Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.
Qualifications
- Required: Superior customer service standards
- Required: A High School diploma or GED
- Required: Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Required: An interest in making a difference in the world
- Required: Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable

Education

Additional Requirements
- Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potential exposure to infectious organisms.
- May require standing 6–8 hours per day; lifting up to 50 lbs; exposure to extreme conditions and use of personal protective equipment.
