Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing services. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, billing, and ensuring specimen integrity. Also involves delivering high-quality customer service and performing administrative tasks, with potential travel to additional sites. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ months of phlebotomy experience; reliable transportation; ability to pass color blindness test. Preferred qualifications: Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency; 1+ year of experience; strong communication skills and customer service orientation. High-value specifics: Clinical laboratory setting; emphasis on specimen collection for diagnostic testing; patient interaction; work schedule Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm; travel as needed. Work setup: On-site in Cookeville, TN; flexible to work overtime; minimal supervision required.
