Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen handling services at a client site, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and accurate sample processing. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary collections across all age groups, handle various test specimens (drug screens, paternity, alcohol), ensure proper data entry and specimen preparation, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency or 3+ months experience; strong communication, customer service skills; ability to work independently, pass color blindness test, and work flexible hours including overtime. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: clinical specimen collection, patient interaction, data handling, training/certification standards, and flexibility to work at multiple sites. Work setup: on-site at Asheville, NC; travel to additional sites may be required.
