Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection and specimen processing in a clinical setting. Primary objectives include providing accurate and efficient blood draws, specimen handling, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities encompass performing venipuncture and capillary techniques, collecting specimens for various tests, entering patient data, processing billing, and maintaining specimen logs. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience; a certification from an accredited agency or completed training is preferred. Skills include strong communication, customer service, and ability to work independently or in teams; reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime are required.
