      Role Summary
Phlebotomist responsible for donor suitability assessment and collection in a plasma center. You will establish rapport with donors to ensure comfort and confidentiality, respond to donor reactions, and monitor donor health and equipment to ensure product quality. You will set up, operate, and disconnect automated plasmapheresis machines and dispose of contaminated equipment. Location: Surprise, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
- You establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
- You respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
- Monitors donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
- Sets up, disconnects, and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines.
- Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.

Education
- High School diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potential exposure to infectious organisms; standing 6–8 hours per day; frequent bending and twisting; light lifting up to 50 lbs; use of personal protective equipment; and the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
