Role Summary
Phlebotomist – We Train. Our ideal phlebotomist is patient, reliable, and committed to keeping our donors comfortable and happy. Location: Wichita, KS, USA.
Responsibilities
- Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
- You establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
- You respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
- Monitors donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
- Sets up, disconnects, and operates the automated plasmapheresis machines.
- Disconnects and disposes of all contaminated disposable equipment.
Qualifications

- Required: Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
Education
- High School diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Work is performed in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids and potential exposure to infectious organisms.
- Exposure to electrical equipment; standing 6–8 hours per day; bending and twisting for 1–2 hours per day; frequent hand and finger movements; walking up to 6–8 hours per day.
- Light lifting up to 50 lbs; PPE required; vision and hearing abilities as specified (color perception, near and far vision).
