Operations
Primary Role
- Licensed pharmacist practicing pharmacy.
- Responsible for daily pharmacy operations: preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications; provide pharmaceutical care and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.

Responsibilities
- Receive and review prescription orders.
- Review and assess therapy for therapeutic appropriateness.
- Coordinate medication preparation and delivery with Patient Care Coordinators, pharmacy technicians, PSPs, and other clinicians.
- Counsel patients on medication and administration.
- Interact with patients, physicians, and third-party insurance providers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local pharmacy regulations and HIPAA policies/procedures.
- Provide clinical/pharmaceutical education and in-service training.
- Disinfect/clean returned medical devices; process returns and perform functional testing as appropriate.
- Complete role-based training, including passing certifications and competency assessments.
- Maintain required privacy standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or PharmD in Pharmacy from an accredited program (required).
- Illinois pharmacist licensure (required).
- Two years registered pharmacist experience (preferred); specialty, infusion, or hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
- Comfortable interacting with patients and healthcare providers for drug information/counseling.
- Willing and able to handle on-call rotations for after-hours coverage.
- Professional communication skills.
- Licensed pharmacist in CA and IL.
