Role Summary

Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager - Dermatology Specialty. Territory Manager will be responsible for account-based selling to health care providers within the Lilly dermatology portfolio, building relationships with dermatology-related accounts and key hospital settings, and driving adoption of Lilly therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops a strong understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape and utilizes appropriate business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
  • Systematically navigates the everchanging healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
  • Actively listens and adapts to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
  • Demonstrates high learning agility to understand clinical information / disease state, portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace, and engages with every member of an office / account.
  • Promotes the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in a patient-centered dialogue with customers; utilizes the selling model to identify appropriate patients.
  • Utilizes all business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in compliance with internal policies and PhRMA code.
  • Collaborates effectively with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Valid US driverโ€™s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship provided).

Skills

  • Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical) after undergrad.
  • Account-based selling experience; ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.
  • Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems and understanding specialty pharmacy distribution models.
  • Experience selling injectable/infusion molecules in a complex reimbursement environment.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and learning agility; self-motivated and emotionally intelligent.\nMust live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree required; additional graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD) preferred.
