Role Summary

Pharmaceutical Sales- Territory Manager- Dermatology Specialty. Territory position in MEMPHIS, TN. Responsible for account-based selling to health care providers within the Lilly dermatology portfolio to drive adoption of therapies and build relationships with dermatology-related accounts, advocacy groups, teaching institutions, and managed care organizations. Viewed as a credible expert and resource in dermatology.

Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Develops a strong understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape and utilizes appropriate business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
  • Account Management: Systematically navigates the healthcare environment to understand accounts and influence key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
  • Selling Skills / Customer Experience: Dialogue agility; actively listens and adapts to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
  • Medical Integrity: Demonstrates high learning agility to understand clinical information, disease state, product portfolio, and the therapeutic marketplace; engages with every member of an office/account.
  • Selling Skills: Promotes the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogue with customers; uses selling model to identify appropriate patients.
  • Execution / Results: Sales activity; utilizes business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in compliance with internal policies and PhRMA code.
  • Partner Collaboration: Collaborates with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated and positive customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state
    • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
    • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no sponsorship)
  • Additional Skills/Preferences:
    • Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical)
    • Graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD) or other relevant experience
    • Account-based selling experience; ability to engage staff in accounts
    • Strong background navigating complex integrated health systems
    • Experience with specialty pharmacy distribution models
    • Experience selling injectable/infusion therapies in complex reimbursement environments
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
    • Learning agility, self-motivation, team orientation, emotional intelligence
    • Residence within 30 miles of territory boundary
