Role Summary
Pharmaceutical Sales- Territory Manager- Dermatology Specialty. Territory: MEMPHIS TN DERM2 200410. Roles include account-based selling to health care providers involved in dermatology, building relationships to drive adoption of Lilly's dermatology therapies, and engaging with advocacy groups, teaching institutions, influencers, and managed care organizations.
Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Develops understanding of territory and reimbursement landscape and uses business insights tools to analyze and adapt to business needs.
- Account Management: Navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders to become a trusted partner.
- Selling Skills / Customer Experience: Dialogue agility; actively listen and adapt to verbal and non-verbal customer prompts throughout the call.
- Medical Integrity: Demonstrates learning agility to understand clinical information, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; engages with every member of an office/account.
- Selling Skills: Promote the entire product portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogue with customers; use selling model to identify appropriate patients.
- Execution / Results: Sales activity using business analytic resources to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals while adhering to internal policies and PhRMA code.
- Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with field-facing and internal peers to create a coordinated, positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Required: Professional certification or license required where state-specific.
- Required: Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Required: Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no sponsorship).
- Preferred: Two or more years of sales experience (pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical).
- Preferred: Graduate degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, PharmD) or other relevant work experience post-undergraduate.
- Preferred: Account-based selling experience; ability to engage staff members in accounts; strong understanding of complex integrated health systems; experience with specialty pharmacy distribution; selling injectable/infusion therapies; cross-functional collaboration; high learning agility; self-motivated; team-oriented; emotional intelligence.
- Other: Must live within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
