Role Summary

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the Primary Care team in New Haven, CT, you will drive promotion of a hypertension asset by translating scientific capabilities into patient-centered outcomes. You will develop knowledge of clinical disease states, communicate product information to healthcare professionals, and execute strategic plans to grow your assigned territory. You will build relationships with primary care providers, leverage multiple channels, and adapt to the AZ Selling Model to deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and demonstrate knowledge of clinical disease states and treatment guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate product information to healthcare professionals.
  • Execute call plans and Brand Strategy by translating data to actionable insights.
  • Adapt to and demonstrate a thorough understanding of AZ Selling Model.
  • Analyze data and trends to build insightful and actionable business plans for your assigned sales territory.
  • Build relationships and credibility with Primary Care healthcare professionals to effectively position products by establishing unmet needs, clinical differentiation, and fair balance of our Brands.
  • Leverage multiple channels including digital platforms and face-to-face engagements to drive meaningful customer interactions.
  • Open to receiving guidance and seek insights for growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Required: 0 - 2+ years of demonstrated Sales or B2B, or Commercial experience
  • Required: A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Preferred: Experience selling to general practitioners (GPs) and primary care centers
  • Preferred: In-depth understanding of the healthcare industry and primary care operations
