About The Role:
The US Respiratory & Anti-Infectives Sales Professional engages physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products. Influences prescribing decisions versus competitive therapies through compliant, face-to-face interactions aligned to approved indications and prescribing information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive territory sales and market share growth across promoted COPD, asthma, and anti-infective products via targeted, compliant, evidence-based customer engagement.
- Own territory business planning; analyze sales data and execute actions to meet goals.
- Develop dynamic call plans and collaborate with local territory colleagues to maximize reach and frequency.
- Build partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other internal stakeholders to align strategy and resources.
- Plan and deliver in-services, educational programs, and sample distribution per FDA regulations and company policy.
- Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (e.g., sample accountability, call reporting, eLearning, expense reporting).
- Comply with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license (driving is essential).
- Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.
- Grade 8: 2+ years pharmaceutical or B2B sales experience.
- Grade 7: 5+ years pharmaceutical or B2B sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (based on location); account management in IDNs/large hospital systems; respiratory/allergy or other healthcare sales experience.
- Managed care/formularies/retail pharmacy operations/prior authorization familiarity.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and business planning skills; self-starter with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
