Lilly Dermatology Specialty Territory Manager (Account-Based Sales)
Responsibilities:
- Provide account-based selling to HCPs who prescribe/influence treatment for Lilly’s dermatology portfolio (dermatology practices and key hospital accounts).
- Build relationships with dermatology customers to drive adoption of new and existing therapies.
- Identify/develop business relationships with state/local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations; serve as a credible expert/resource.
- Manage territory by analyzing the territory and reimbursement landscape and adapting to business needs.
- Navigate the healthcare environment to understand accounts and impact key stakeholders.
- Actively listen and adapt to verbal/non-verbal customer prompts.
- Demonstrate learning agility to understand clinical information/disease state, product portfolio, and therapeutic marketplace; use this to engage all members of an office/account.
- Promote the full product portfolio through patient-centered dialogue and use Lilly’s selling model to identify appropriate patients.
- Use business analytics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals in compliance with internal policies and PhRMA code.
- Collaborate with field and internal peers to create a coordinated, positive customer experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Required professional certification/license (if required by state).
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; no visa sponsorship.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years sales experience (pharma or non-pharma) after undergrad; plus other work experience or graduate degree.
- Account-based selling; ability to identify/engage staff.
- Experience navigating complex integrated health systems and specialty pharmacy distribution; selling injectables/infusion in complex reimbursement.
- Cross-functional collaboration; strong learning agility; self-motivated, team-focused, emotionally intelligent, influential.
- Must live within 30 miles of territory boundary.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Anticipated base wage: $87,000–$159,500.
- Eligible for company bonus (based on company/individual performance) and comprehensive benefits (e.g., 401(k), medical/dental/vision, life insurance, time off/leave, and well-being benefits).
