Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:
- Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel in assigned geography; professionally represent the company and maintain high visibility/customer service.
- Promote and educate specialty physicians on appropriate use of rare disease products via one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and company-approved speaker programs.
- Meet territory product sales and activity goals; ensure ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers/accounts using approved resources and promotional initiatives.
- Manage/maintain company equipment and compliant promotional materials (sales materials, literature, product samples, etc.).
- Execute territory sales strategy using business plans and required sales reports; attend company-sponsored sales/medical meetings.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- BA/BS required.
- 2+ years promoting rare disease products (plus 5–7+ years successful pharmaceutical sales experience).
- Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
Skills / Competencies:
- Strong sales process knowledge; proven sustained high sales performance.
- Leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, self-starter, problem solving, organization, adaptability, professionalism, written/verbal communications, analytical skills, multi-tasking, decision-making, accountability.
Working Conditions:
- Periodic evening/weekend work as needed; periodic overnight travel; travel up to 70%.
Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary range: $110,000 to $190,000.
