Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions
- Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products/services to physicians and other medical personnel in assigned geography.
- Educate customers on appropriate use, characteristics, and approved indications.
- Professionally represent the company; maintain high visibility and customer service.
- Promote and educate specialty physicians on rare disease products via one-on-one meetings and group presentations.
- Ensure high call/field productivity; meet product sales goals while following ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved product marketing and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers/accounts using company-approved sales materials and promotional initiatives.
- Manage and maintain company equipment and approved promotional materials per compliance guidelines.
- Execute territory strategy using business plans and sales reports.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Achieve territory product and activity goals using defined metrics.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.

Qualifications
- BA/BS required.
- 2+ years of experience promoting rare disease products.
- 5–7+ years successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and rare disease products; proven sustained high sales performance.
- Competencies: leadership, teamwork, attention to detail, self-starter, problem solving, organization, adaptability, professionalism, written/verbal communications, analytical skills, multi-tasking, decision-making, accountability.

Working Conditions
- Periodic evening/weekend work and overnight travel; travel up to 70%.

Compensation
- Anticipated base salary range: $110,000–$190,000.
