About the Role
The GSK US Respiratory & Anti-Infectives Sales Professional engages physicians and allied health professionals across independent practices, physician groups, and hospital systems to drive appropriate prescribing of GSK products, influencing prescribing decisions versus competitive therapies through compliant, face-to-face interactions aligned with approved indications and prescribing information.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive territory sales and market share growth across promoted COPD, asthma, and anti-infective products through targeted, compliant, evidence-based customer engagement.
- Own territory business planning; analyze sales data and execute actions to meet goals.
- Develop dynamic call plans and collaborate with local territory colleagues to maximize reach and frequency.
- Build partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical (MSLs), and other internal stakeholders to align strategy and resources.
- Plan and deliver in-services, educational programs, and sample distribution in accordance with FDA regulations and company policy.
- Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (e.g., sample accountability, call reporting, eLearning, expense reporting).
- Comply with GSK policies, ethical standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license; driving is an essential function.
- Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.
- Grade 8: Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or B2B sales experience.
- Grade 7: Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or B2B sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual.
- Account management experience within local IDNs/large hospital systems.
- Experience in respiratory/allergy or other healthcare sales.
- Familiarity with managed care, formularies, retail pharmacy operations, prior authorization processes.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and business planning skills.
- Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
