Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory sales goals by promoting products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned geography.
- Educate customers on appropriate use, characteristics, and approved indications of products.
- Professionally represent the company; maintain high visibility and customer service in territory.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.
- Promote and educate specialty physicians on appropriate use of rare disease products via one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and approved speaker programs.
- Meet territory product sales goals with ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Execute company-approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers/accounts using approved resources, sales materials, and promotional initiatives identified by Sales Leadership.
- Manage and maintain company equipment and approved promotional materials in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Execute territory sales strategy using territory business plans, regional business plans, and sales reports.
- Attend company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed.
- Achieve territory product sales goals and territory sales activity goals using defined metrics.
- Pursue continuous learning and professional sales development.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required.
- 2+ years of experience promoting rare disease products.
- 5–7+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Valid US state-issued driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and rare disease products; proven sustained high sales performance.
- Competencies: leadership, teamwork/collaboration, attention to detail, self-starter, problem solving, organizational skills, adaptability, professionalism, written/verbal communications, analytical skills, multi-tasking, decision-making, accountability.

Working Conditions:
- Periodic evening/weekend work; periodic overnight travel; travel up to 70%.

Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary range: $110,000–$190,000.
