Key Responsibilities
- Act in a manner consistent with all internal policies and procedures and PhRMA code, and meet all right-to-operate expectations
- Sell in a changing health care environment; use critical thinking and a strategic mindset to understand payers, health systems, and business to gain customer access and impact patients’ lives
- Use an entrepreneurial mindset to analyze, develop, and grow territory business
- Use business insights tools to decide where to invest time and resources
- Use knowledge of the marketplace and reimbursement landscape to prioritize opportunities
- Prioritize opportunities and tactics using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)
- Consider all resources when developing quarterly territory/customer action plans
- Develop deep understanding of disease state, products, marketplace, and key competitors
- Use patient-focused clinical dialogue to engage each member of the office at the right level
- Partner with healthcare professionals and those involved in patient care as a product expert to tailor solutions for patient therapy
- Work within your own territory and partner with team members/partners for success; set partnership expectations and leverage strengths and access
- Achieve sales growth in territory and deliver strong sales results
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional certification or license required (if required by a specific state)
- Live within the territory or within 30 miles of territory boundaries (Disney area)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; visa/work authorization sponsorship not provided
