Role Summary

Territory Manager for Cardiometabolic Health, accountable for account-based selling to health care providers who prescribe and influence treatment across the Lilly portfolio. Serves as a credible expert and resource supporting all medicines and appropriate brand patients, including customers in multiple HCP specialties and key hospital accounts. Responsible for driving results by applying Lilly’s Selling, Competency, and Account Management models to meet customer needs and to drive utilization and adoption of medicines for the right patients.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the full portfolio of priority products with multiple HCP specialties.
  • Understands the territory marketplace; evaluates and tailors the territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes.
  • Navigates the evolving healthcare environment and payer landscape to better understand accounts and influence key stakeholders to become trusted partners.
  • Utilizes business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and potential obstacles.
  • Implements and adopts new technologies, including AI tools and analytical capabilities to streamline customer interactions.
  • Identifies and advocates for new opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
  • Models a growth mindset to create positive experiences.
  • Embraces and uses the company’s selling, competency and account management models to elevate performance and drive results.
  • Demonstrates learning agility to understand disease state, marketplace, clinical trials, and product label.
  • Promotes the portfolio by planning for and engaging in patient-centered dialogues with customers.
  • Promotes across BU-portfolio and across HCP specialties, driving consistent ways of working within the Regional Health Care Market; utilizes the Virtual Medical Hub as appropriate.
  • Aches targeted sales and execution metrics while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Owns the customer relationship for product promotion, on-label medical questions, and general market access.
  • Holds self-accountability for results and performance across all accounts from individual HCPs to large health systems.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external partners to foster trust and collaborative success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.

  • Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results.
  • Account based selling experience. Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts.

  • Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs.
  • Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
