Perrigo Aspire Commercial Internship Program - Sales Summer 2026
This 14-week Sales Internship offers hands-on experience driving customer value and contributing to sales goals. You will work with a dedicated account team on promotional planning, selling efforts, and cross-functional collaboration. Openings are in Grand Rapids and Allegan, Michigan, with a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Lead one or more strategic projects and present final project(s) to CSCA executive leadership team.
- Support customer and consumer sales, outreach, and planning.
- Assist in account sales and promotional activities, collaborate on strategic plans, and support supply discussions, category reviews, and price negotiations.
- Act as a customer advocate within Perrigo, assist in directing internal initiatives to ensure timely execution of promotional and account initiatives, and assist in promotional forecasting.
- Assist in utilizing syndicated sales data for measurement and validation of corporate brand initiatives, and coordinate consumer research in support of customer marketing plans.
- Recommend pricing and promotional strategies that can boost sales and margins.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, gaining insights into sales support, supply chain, innovation, manufacturing, finance, design, eCommerce, and consumer insights.
- Set performance goals, define learning objectives, and meet project deadlines with the guidance of your supervisor and mentor, and deliver a final project presentation to CSCA leadership.
- Immerse yourself in company-sponsored training and intern events that hone your skills in marketing, sales, and personal development.
- Absorb Perrigo company culture, policies, and practices that shape every facet of our business.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student majoring in Business, Marketing, or related field; junior or senior standing preferred.
- Prior sales experience is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Display independence and professionalism when interacting with leadership across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is strongly preferred.
- Possess robust analytical skills and a capacity to grasp the sales process.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Skilled at interpreting quantitative and qualitative data for decision-making.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing tight timelines, and prioritizing tasks.
- Demonstrate outstanding judgment, follow-through, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
