Employee Lifecycle & Compliance
- Execute HR lifecycle transactions in Workday (new hire validation, transfers, org changes, offboarding), catching data quality issues.
- Coordinate VNDLY contingent workforce operations (contractor onboarding/offboarding, tenure alerts, Workday record synchronization).
- Support SoD and UAR compliance: collect quarterly user access review evidence across Workday, Greenhouse, ServiceNow, and VNDLY; flag anomalies within 24 hours.
- Own I-9/E-Verify compliance tracking, EEO-1 data extraction/validation, and onboarding/offboarding systems checklists with defined Day 1 and 4-hour SLAs.
AI Operations & People Assistant Enablement
- Build and maintain the Maverick knowledge base (structured HR articles/FAQs/process guides optimized for retrieval).
- Manage the content lifecycle (expiration tracking, policy review coordination with Compliance, remove outdated content).
- Monitor Maverick performance daily and convert gaps into new content/workflow improvements.
- Serve as human-in-the-loop for complex escalations; document root cause and build permanent fixes.
- Run weekly bias spot-checks and maintain an AI transparency log; flag PII/legal/medical advice as P1 incidents.
ServiceNow HRSD Operations
- Manage HR case queue (triage, routing, ensure no SLA breaches without escalation).
- Maintain employee-facing knowledge/FAQs in plain language; update within 48 hours of policy changes.
- Identify recurring case patterns and propose automation/self-service improvements.
Greenhouse ATS & VNDLY
- Administer Greenhouse (requisition setup, pipeline hygiene, data audits, EEOC/OFCCP completeness).
- Support Greenhouse-to-Workday integration (validate accepted offers trigger correct hire record and onboarding).
- First-line support for TA/HR Ops on Greenhouse and VNDLY issues.
LMS & Workday Learning
- Own mandatory compliance training completion (enrollment dashboards, weekly tracking, escalation for <98% before deadline).
- Administer Workday Learning (course catalog setup, enrollment automation, completion tracking, SCORM support, HCM integration validation).
People Data Quality & Reporting
- Run weekly Workday data quality audits across AI-critical fields; maintain β₯95% quality.
- Run and validate weekly/monthly/quarterly People reporting cadence.
- Fulfill ad-hoc HRBP requests via Workday Report Writer and Databricks dashboards within SLA; surface recurring items for automation.
Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Own People Ops SOP/process documentation library (write/maintain/version-control).
- Audit workflows quarterly; propose prioritized automation opportunities with effort/impact.
- Build employee/manager self-service guides to reduce Tier 1 contact volume.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- 2β4 years in HR/People Ops, HR shared services, or HR systems administration; ideally in scaling tech or life sciences; owns processes end-to-end.
- Hands-on with at least two: Workday HCM, Greenhouse ATS, ServiceNow HRSD; VNDLY/VMS is a plus.
- AI & automation mindset; demonstrated day-to-day use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Moveworks, Glean) and interest in training/quality measurement.
- Root-cause focused (prevents recurrence).
- Compliance-aware (I-9/E-Verify, EEO-1, SoD, UAR).
- Data precise and builds quality checks into SOPs.
- Clear communicator (plain language for hires; clean root-cause summaries for managers).
- LMS experience (Workday Learning, Absorb, Cornerstone, or equivalent).
- Comfortable creating structured AI workflow test cases; evaluate retrieval accuracy; maintain response quality log.
- Based in SF Bay Area; regular work from SF and Palo Alto offices.

Salary Range (California)
- $135,000β$167,000 USD.
