Pediatric Immunization Specialist (ISP) — field-based role (Territory: Queens, NY and surrounding area)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain specialized expertise in vaccine therapeutic areas, products and markets.
- Demonstrate knowledge of GSK pediatric/adolescent vaccines, competitive products, and GSK promotional strategies/objectives, including contracting structures.
- Use high-level selling skills (account-based selling, strategic thinking, drive for results, and ability to ask for the business).
- Provide value to targeted accounts by blending science and service based on each account’s needs.
- Follow public health guidelines and use the vaccines sales process to engage customers and support efforts to vaccinate or refer patients.
- Drive vaccination uptake in private sector (health systems, independent providers) and public sector (Vaccines for Children, health departments, Federally Qualified Health Centers).
- Collaborate with field teams (Account Managers and Contract Specialists) to pull through GSK vaccine business.
- Utilize and provide feedback on marketing content and digital tools to optimize and evolve them.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Domestic travel as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive (essential function).
- Hire level depends on experience (Immunization Specialist grade 8: 2+ years; Senior Immunization Specialist grade 7: 5+ years).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vaccines sales experience.
- Strong track record of high-level performance and consistent achievements.
- Strong account-selling skills in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated competency of science, business acumen, and customer engagement.
- Knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated learning agility.

Location/Travel:
- Field-based; travel percentage determined by customer location relative to candidate’s geographic location.

Benefits/Compensation (explicitly stated):
- Annual base salary range (US): $132,000–$220,000; plus annual bonus and eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
