Payer & Health Systems Oncology, Medical Affairs Director (PHSO MAD) (NC, SC, TN)

Role: The Payer & Health Systems Oncology Medical Affairs Director (PHSO MAD) is a therapeutic expert responsible for building and maintaining relationships with healthcare decision makers in payers and provider organizations to facilitate access to oncology product information. Responsibilities: develop strategic account plans, serve as a scientific resource on market dynamics, communicate with Medical Scientific Directors, and support scientific meetings. Requirements: MD, PhD, or PharmD; 3+ years of experience in field-based Medical Affairs working with payers or health systems, or 5+ years of clinical oncology experience within a health system; extensive knowledge of healthcare delivery, pharmacoeconomics, and oncology therapeutics; strong interpersonal and strategic planning skills. Preferred: experience engaging with organized healthcare and formal training in health economics or outcomes research.
