Role: The Oncology Patient Support & Advocacy Navigator (PSAN) is a field-based, non-promotional role within Pfizer's US advocacy team, focused on executing regional activation of national advocacy partnerships in oncology. Objectives include delivering disease-state education to patients/caregivers, supporting patient programs, and building relationships with advocacy organizations to enhance patient engagement. Responsibilities encompass coordinating educational events, managing sponsorships and budgets, capturing insights post-events, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like CP208. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with medical, marketing, and advocacy teams, as well as project management of complex initiatives to meet strategic goals. Qualifications: BA/BS required, with 6+ years in US pharmaceutical industry or advocacy, preferably oncology advocacy. Strong project management, relationship-building, and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of CP208 and patient engagement practices. Preferred: oncology advocacy experience, familiarity with Pfizer's advocacy initiatives, clinical background (e.g., RN, NP), and field-based work experience. The position requires up to 50% travel, operates in a remote/field setting, and involves evening/weekend hours due to event scheduling. The focus on patient education, advocacy partnership activation, and compliance with legal standards underscores its strategic impact on oncology patient engagement and support.
