The Patient Services Strategy Franchise Director, Immunology Dermatology plays a key role in developing AbbVie Patient Services patient support strategies across the Immunology Dermatology β RINVOQ portfolio for current and future pipeline products.
Responsibilities:
- Own development and execution of patient support programs and resources for the Immunology Dermatology β RINVOQ franchise; define strategy, care model performance, and KPIs.
- Lead integrated US Patient Services solutions and strategies for RINVOQ indications; lead care model meetings to improve patient experience and outcomes.
- Drive patient support strategy, overseeing investment/allocation to enable patient access and adherence.
- Design and optimize patient support ecosystems to support brand imperatives.
- Set commercial priorities with Integrated Brand Team (IBT); communicate business impact to executive management.
- Coordinate between Patient Services teams and brand partners to meet patient/provider needs.
- Provide performance accountability and periodic updates to senior leadership.
- Track brand needs, economics, strategies, timelines, and patient/franchise trends.
- Develop and execute the patient care model; drive cross-functional coordination and resource prioritization; ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Own escalation/decision-making for delivery risks, misalignment, or resourcing conflicts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent; advanced degree (MBA/MPH/etc.) preferred.
- 12+ years healthcare experience; 12+ years pharmaceutical strategy/execution experience.
- Strong enterprise thinking, strategic planning, and financial acumen; data-driven.
- Extensive cross-functional leadership, stakeholder/people management, and executive presence.
- Portfolio strategy depth; ability to identify opportunities and guide decisions at scale.
- Experience with commercial/therapeutic area priorities and managing multiple business cycles.
- Proven ability to navigate matrixed environments and build influential internal/external relationships.
- Catalyst for change; lead in complexity with comfort in ambiguity.
- Trade-off decision-making and dispute resolution across competing interests.
