The technique targets specific nerves near the kidneys that can become overactive and cause high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. We are hiring a Consultant - Patient Experience to be part of our growing patient marketing team as we expand the launch of this novel therapy. We look for leaders at every level who have a clear vision of where we are going and how to get there and are bold inclusive thinkers who create new ideas and bring our best solutions forward to benefit our patients, business partners, and customers. 

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

This individual will be responsible for leading patient experience across channels and campaigns for the US market and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to accelerate digital integration efforts. Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate across key internal and external partners including creative, brand, agencies, IT, digital experience, to drive consistency in patient journey, optimize for engaging patient experience, and accelerate best-in-class multichannel digital execution
• Lead agency and creative teams in development of assets across channels, including email, SMS, field market development, clinical and more
• Manage approval process for patient experience assets in partnership with legal, compliance, health law, reimbursement, and other cross-functional partners
• Lead patient marketing communications strategy for shared decision-making, clinical trial marketing, and patient access programs
• Own and manage global patient claims matrix with strong understanding of key messages and clinical data to drive consistency and clarity in patient messaging across the consumer team and global expressions.
• Lead development of campaign dashboards and optimization recommendations to define effective direct-to-consumer performance

Basic Qualifications: Must Have: 

• Bachelor's Degree 
• 10+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, market development strategy, or program development work with 7+ years of managerial experience

OR

• Advanced degree with 7+ years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, market development strategy, or program development work with 7+ years of managerial experience

Nice to Have:

• Masters or another Advanced Degree
• Digital strategy and execution experience
• Experience within an agency, healthcare, or consumer-focused industry with direct-to-consumer experience
• Exceptional collaboration and communications skills

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $185,600.00 - $278,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards here.
