About The Role
The Patient Engagement & Advocacy (PEA) Manager enables the Endocrinology PEA team to operate efficiently, consistently, and at scale, leading operational planning/execution and improving systems/processes/tools/governance supporting high-quality patient engagement & advocacy.
Your Contributions
- Lead operational planning and execution for patient engagement activities across assigned therapeutic programs and brands.
- Coordinate end-to-end execution for advisory meetings, patient/caregiver engagement, headquarters visits, conferences, sponsorships, memberships, and strategic initiatives with external agencies/vendors.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, annual calendars, dashboards, and operational trackers.
- Coordinate participant recruitment, contracting, travel/meeting logistics, materials, invoicing, and follow-up for advisory boards and other initiatives.
- Monitor operational progress, identifying risks/dependencies/opportunities; maintain operational resources/templates/knowledge repositories/reporting tools.
- Coordinate operational planning with Patient Marketing, Field Medical Marketing, Sales, Field Medical, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and others.
- Improve processes/templates/tools/governance/workflows for consistency, efficiency, scalability.
- Identify and implement technology solutions; champion responsible use of AI and digital tools.
- Serve as primary operational lead for agencies/vendors/service providers; coordinate budgeting, sponsorship payments, purchase requests, contracts, invoices; ensure compliance with policies/laws/regs/industry standards.
- Support onboarding and continuous improvement; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma with 10+ years combined relevant education/experience; OR BS/BA with 6+ years; OR Masterβs with 4+ years.
- Preferred: biopharmaceutical/patient advocacy/healthcare consulting or patient engagement agency experience; experience in patient engagement/advocacy/medical affairs/commercial ops/corporate affairs; advisory boards/conferences/external engagements; managing budgets/contracts/invoices/vendors/project tracking; drug development/commercialization understanding.
- Skills: strong organizational/project management; operational planning/detail/follow-through; cross-functional coordination; communication; influence without authority; judgment/problem-solving/decision-making; continuous improvement; Microsoft Office/collaboration platforms (AI/digital tools preferred); compliant patient engagement; 10β20% travel.
Benefits
