Patient Advocacy
Role: Patient Access Liaison (PAL) supporting therapies in rare endocrine and oncology indications, focusing on patient education, insurance navigation, and therapy access. Responsibilities: serve as the primary contact for patients/caregivers, providing education on disease, medication administration, and reimbursement; develop personalized access and communication plans; collaborate with cross-functional teams including Patient Advocacy, Safety, and PV; ensure compliance with regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in patient support or clinical roles, preferably with clinical licensure and experience in pediatrics, endocrinology, or neurology; 2+ years in pharma, with experience in orphan or rare disease product launches; bilingual skills preferred. High-Value: rare disease focus, injectable therapies, patient education on reimbursement and medication administration, experience in orphan/rare disease onboarding, compliance with HIPAA, FDA, OIG guidelines. WorkSetup: field-based with up to 50% travel, including home visits, patient meetings, and advocacy events.
