Role: Patient Access Liaison (PAL) supporting adult and pediatric patients for Ascendis Pharma. The primary objective is to facilitate patient access to therapies through education on disease states, product use, insurance, and reimbursement processes, ensuring timely and safe treatment initiation. Responsibilities include building relationships with patients and caregivers, providing individualized education, assisting with coverage and affordability issues, and collaborating with internal teams such as Patient Advocacy, Safety, and PV. The role involves up to 50% travel, including home visits, and some weekend engagements.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in patient support roles, clinical or allied health licensure preferred, and minimum two years in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience with orphan or rare disease product launches, injectable medication education, and reimbursement navigation is advantageous. Bilingual skills and familiarity with HIPAA, FDA, and OIG guidelines are preferred.
