Patient Advocacy
Role: Patient Access Liaison supporting therapy access and education for Ascendis Pharma's rare disease and oncology portfolios. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for patients and caregivers, providing disease and product education, navigating insurance and reimbursement processes, and building long-term relationships with patients and care teams. The role also involves collaboration with internal teams on safety reporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years in a patient support role, clinical or allied health licensure preferred, plus 2+ years of pharma experience. Experience in rare or orphan disease product launches, injectable medication education, and reimbursement obstacles is valued. High-Value: Rare disease/oncology, endocrinology, pediatrics, injection administration, patient education, reimbursement advocacy, regulatory compliance. Work setup: Field-based with up to 50% travel, including home visits, conferences, and occasional weekends.
