Role: Patient Access Liaison responsible for patient education and reimbursement support to facilitate therapy access for Ascendis Pharma's rare disease and oncology products. Responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for patients and caregivers, providing disease and medication education, navigating insurance and coverage processes, and managing long-term relationships. The role requires collaboration with internal teams such as Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance, and attendance at advocacy events and congresses, with up to 50% travel, including overnight, and some weekend travel. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' experience in patient support, clinical background preferred (pediatrics, endocrinology, neurology, etc.), plus 2+ years in pharma industry; bilingual skills advantageous. Experience in rare disease product launches, injectable medication education, reimbursement challenges, and familiarity with regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, FDA, OIG) is desired. The position demands excellent communication, autonomy, and adaptability, with a professional demeanor. Work setup: field-based with travel.
