Role: Patient Access Liaison (PAL) supporting access and reimbursement for Ascendis Pharmaโ€™s rare disease and oncology therapies. Responsibilities include educating patients and caregivers on disease, product use, insurance coverage, medication administration, and affordability; developing long-term relationships; collaborating with internal teams for patient support; and reporting adverse events and complaints. The role involves up to 50% travel, including home visits and attending symposia. Qualifications: Bachelorโ€™s degree with at least 5 yearsโ€™ experience in patient support or clinical roles, preferably in pediatrics, endocrinology, or related fields, combined with 2+ years industry experience. Clinical/licensure preferred, bilingual skills advantageous. Experience with orphan/rare disease launches, injectable product education, reimbursement processes, and compliance with FDA/HIPAA required. High-value specifics include rare disease focus, patient education, reimbursement support, and field-based engagement. Work setup is field-based with travel expectations.
