Patient Advocacy Associate (Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-functional projects; develop/maintain timelines, trackers, and status reports; proactively identify risks and escalate issues.
- Manage funding requests and engagements with patient advocacy organizations and professional medical societies.
- Maintain trackers for memberships, sponsorships, grants, and collaborative projects.
- Coordinate annual planning, contract execution, deliverables, renewals, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate engagement activities (advisory boards, speaker programs, research collaborations, educational initiatives) and maintain a centralized calendar/engagement tracker.
- Ensure documentation and compliance requirements are completed for engagements.
- Organize/participate in patient advocacy events, workshops, and conferences.
- Develop/maintain a Patient Engagement Dashboard (KPIs/strategic metrics) and provide routine reports/executive summaries.
- Coordinate contracting for HCPs, patients, caregivers, consultants, and external organizations (partner with Legal/Compliance/Procurement/Finance).
- Support budget planning: track spending, process invoices, monitor PO/accruals, and prepare budget reports/forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 3+ years in project management, operations, Medical Affairs, patient advocacy, or healthcare administration.
- Strong understanding of patient advocacy and patient engagement in biotech/pharma/healthcare.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail; strong written/verbal communication.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience building dashboards/trackers/reporting tools.
- Deep empathy for patients and families.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Respiratory Medicine.
Work & Travel:
- Fully remote; occasional domestic travel (up to 10%).
Pay Range:
- $39.00β$50.00 hourly.
