Patient Access Specialist

Role: Patient Access Specialist supporting Genmab's new Patient Services Support Center, focusing on medication access and reimbursement for cancer therapies. Responsibilities: act as the primary contact for prescribers, patients, and caregivers; navigate insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and appeals; evaluate financial assistance options; provide case management by assessing needs, communicating effectively, and collaborating with healthcare teams; ensure high-quality interactions and process improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 1+ years in patient services or healthcare, knowledge of oncology product reimbursement (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance), experience with insurance processes, strong communication and empathetic listening skills, proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: understanding of private and government payer landscape, Spanish language proficiency.
